Thread: The new London Blackout.

  1. #1

    Arrow The new London Blackout.

So first they announce huge price increases, then they admit they can't even keep the lights switched on.

EDF, the French owned power company, resorts to scheduled blackouts whilst it deals with multiple faults in the power network.

I'll bet that no one gets a penny back from them despite the fact they are failing to keep their side of the contract.

I dunno... the network has been fine for years, but hand it over to the French and it all hits the (non-working) fan! :-p

Someone should point out to them that in the UK, we expect higher service levels than the French! ;-)

Now I come to think about, the New York blackouts were caused by faults on the French Canadian side of the border too.

    Of course!
The French are responsible for all the ills of the world. Everything from the war in Iraq, the conflict between Israel and Hizbollah, the Iran and North Korean nuclear threats, the fact that my PSU overheated and blew, the lack of rainfall in the SE, the woman at the end of my road breaking her leg and, most important of all, global warming, are ALL the fault of the French.
