Let me see if i have this correct. If you were going to buy from me, you would first ask me if i had escrow and then pay a completely different way?? Boy, that REALLY makes me wanna go take the time to get it lolOriginally Posted by kenpem
Im sorry but some people dont want to set up an escrow account because they are happy with what they are already using. They also dont want the hassle of different accounts.
So there you are people, Kenpem advises you to go out an get escrow. But he wont use it to pay you....![]()

hi can some one point me in the right direction i have an invoice how do i pay it please some one help me thanks alishas attic
hi what do you want to pay it with ?
Oh sorry i should have asked it it from ebid or a seller ?
It's a question of credibility. If, as a seller, you are prepared to accept escrow, chances are you're honest and that's often good enough for me. The very fact that you're willing increases confidence.Originally Posted by Petesmovies4auction
And of course if I'm buying a high-value item, I WILL use an escrow service.

Its like me messaging people and asking why their postage is so high, i know why its high, they know why its high. Its so they can keep the cost of the item down... if they reply in a rude way im not buying. If they are polite and honest i am buying.
...or (on t'other side, mostly) to keep their fees down. I've seen it done here too - a remote-controlled car for a fiver, with £25 postage. Not a problem for seasoned e-buyers, but will catch out some poor newbie sods, I'm sure. Or maybe that's the idea?Originally Posted by Petesmovies4auction
