using paypal for ebid

hi all, not sure if this q has appeared or not, im an ebayer and want to use paypal on ebid. i have seen a few sellers with it as a payment option but im not sure how to set it up with ebid?

Hi. Because paypal is owned by the rivals, EBID don't show it as a default choice. EBID do not allow of site links or email addresses in auction descriptions, so apart from saying 'I take paypal' it can be diffucult to provide buyers with you paypal details until after the auction. I get around this pay having my paypal address incorporated in my auctions as a picture!.- see example: http://uk.four.ebid.net/perl/auction...-18&mo=auction

You could also use the "Buy It Now" buttons from Paypal like I have in most of my auctions, some of them display the Visa or MasterCard logo's. Just go in to Merchant Tools tab in your Paypal account, put in your info. then, after you get your encrypted (optional) code from Paypal, just copy & paste into the HTML of your eBid listing!

Totally agree. I don't want Paypal as an option. Too much trouble. Been there, got the T-Shirt.

Personally i just mention in auction that i take cards and then give all payment options in an e-mail to the customer after auction.
