EBid upload spreadsheet and postage

Any plans to include a column for postage? Maybe I can just include an extra column?
Whilst on the subject - how about re-list a well?

I'm glad to see that I am not the only one who spotted some missing details on the spreadsheet! I already sent an Email to Ebid, and await their reply.

It is obvious to me (and you) that the spreadsheet fields should match those on the Auction Setup Form, and displayed Auction page, at the Website, so why doesn't it?

I also agree about the auto-reposts. I found them invaluable at QXL, until they changed the Website and everything started to fall apart! The "start on first bid" option is OK, but not as good as Auto-reposting!

Its coming, the missing fields are fields that we added to the site relatively recently and we havent added them to the spreadsheet yet.

A long comment this time:-

Hey - It is looking good now, but this Website is really going to 'shape-up' soon! I'm glad It was recommended to me - free Auctions (so far) AND more facilities / updates to come soon... Can't be bad! It's good to know that our comments are being noted - it's all for the good of the Website, after all!

I do hope we get a choice, regarding the pay-per-image scheme that's being voted on at the moment, too. I think the fact that a Basic Auction is 'FREE' here is a big factor in getting members to join! I was certainly drawn in by that fact, but don't mind paying a small fee on items once they are sold. These things don't run on fresh air, after all!

Regarding Postage... I take it that I should upload my auctions with a note about the postage added to the description for now, until the Spreadsheet is Updated ?

Will it take long to do, as I would like to start my first batch of sales off as soon as possible, but if the Spreadsheet will be ready soon, should I wait for it, instead of adding the note?

Decisions, Decisions - but it will all be worth it in the end, and I can't wait to get selling again, after moving my 'business' activities here from QXL !

Seeing the Website growing and developing like this is very encouraging, and I think the Webmasters are doing a fine job making it happen, while still being approachable on the matters important to Members!

Hi 'Gazza', and many thanks for the Spreadsheet priority ! It will really help to get rid of those "not known" messages on the Auctions! on smaller items, postage charges can sometimes be a large proportion of the total cost!

Really looking forward to getting organised now, and starting my first Auctions - about 35/40, but many more to come!

We are open to all comments, the good, bad and ugly.. We know we are a long way off where we want to be and with constructive criticsm we will get there faster....

The only thing we do ask is that people realise that we are not eBay, we dont have millions (or thousands for that matter) in the bank that we can throw at the site, it is a labour of love most of the time and we are working non stop nearly every day of the week to bring the site up to a standard that I feel is acceptable..

We have come a long long way in the last year and we expect to be well over double our size in the next 6 months...

To me you are as much of an enigma as low cost airlines - how do they make a profit? How do you manage to make a living? I regret I rarely visit your advertised sites - obviously plenty of folk do!! I will try to click on a few now and again to keep you in pocket money.
