I have to admit, I am finding it a bit too bright. I have had to dull down my monitor, as it was hurting my eyes. Not pleasant trying to list your items.
Other than that I will reserve comment. As I am still getting used to it.

Hi, If the front page isnt made to be compatable with IE6 and 800x600 res. I think buyers will just go back to the other place for ease of use.... dont forget there are still a lot of people who can barely turn a computer on.

    Do peeps still use 800 x 600
I thought that was nigh on EXTINCT now.
I dont think my monitor can even display that lol
Its like living in the land of the giants if i remember rightly.

My settings are 1280 x 1024 so im not seeing it as intended either it would seem ?

I'm on 800x600 and like Beryl, I couldn't read the front page on higher res AND I have pretty good eyesight too....

On eBay recently, I used a listings tool called Sellathon - it grabs all the info from the members looking at each listing. The interesting thing was that almost a third were on 800x600 res.

I remember there being this same issue when the last upgrade rolled out...with a bit of tinkering, eBid made it all fit on screen for everyone.

The MAIN thing is is that it's *only* on the Home Page that I have to scroll, and the only info off to one side (rather neatly!) is the featured stores. I can live with that - I don't want to! But it's not the end of the world. They just need to stop the juddering which some of us are experiencing.

Most people see Red especially if they've just sunk 3 Bottle's of Buckfast, A touch of Smack, Just mugged someone and broke their 7th ABSO in a week.

    FANTASTIC !!!
Ah! Yes, appealing to the lowest common denominator i.e. Sun readers and the like, that should raise eBid's profile dramatically.

    Hi,

I'm also on 800 x 600 & i like it like that, i did have a problem with the home page but read some posts advocating Firefox, i held out for a while in case it improved, but finally capitulated & downloaded Firefox late last night, should have done it sooner, no more problems (so far).

    Regards, Ann.
