    Exclamation Default auction listing gripe

    Hello again,

I've just joined and am currently Silver. The marketing emphasis on Silver is obviously focused on the free listing angle. I was a little surprised and disappointed, therefore, to see that the default Auction Listing is not set to Standard Auction at a cost of £0.00 but rather Featured Auction at a cost of £1.00. This would make it possible and perhaps probable that some sellers could mistakenly run up a bill for listings that they intended to be free by simply missing this. Sellers unfamiliar with the system would be particularly at risk.

I'm not about to speculate on the possible reasons why this is the case but would respectfully suggest that the default be set to Standard thus allowing the accruing of additional listing fees to be totally proactive.

    Default

100% agree with you. I've been caught out by 'defaults' before.
