    Re: reclaiming the FVF - assuming this relates to Final Valuation Fees - I'd suggest registering for a Gold account and then using the eBid store facility. I have had several non-paying bidders over the past month and, after leaving all of them negative feedback, I have simply relisted the items. There's no listing fee, no re-listing fee and no final valuation fee.

    There is one problem with leaving negative feedback for nonpayment is that YOU get a negative back in retalliation. What would you suggest be done about that.

    After all people look at feedback when buying. Well I know I do and I am reluctant to buy from someone with negs.

    If it has not cost you I would just relist and just blackball them and forget the feedback. It is not worth the hassle.

    ALWAYS leave the appropriate feedback- EBID cannot act on poor buyers or sellers unless we give them evidence via the feedback system. Unfair feedback can be removed by ebid admin.

    Only minus point about NOT leaving neg feedback is that when others are checking out the credentials of a potential buyer/seller and they see they have no negs they would then assume they are cotia, which in reality they are anything but. I can personally say not one person who i have negged has given me retaliatory feeedback (to date!), if they were to then i would be straight onto support, as the only people i have negged are the non-payers, so what can they say in retaliation, after all, they have been emailed with an invoice, sent a reminder, then a final reminder, and on most occasions they have not responded to any of the mails, so its then they receive their appropriate feedback.
    Sorry Helen, but altho I can see what you are saying, and its a fair comment, I still think its important to let others know, by giving neg feedback, to be very wary of any dealings, by means of selling or buying.

    I would agree to some extent. The only bad feedback I have is from non-payers. I had an 98.8% feedback from the other side, no retaliatory non-payers there. Since I have come here it has been hell on earth so far. I am slowly getting there Linda, but all it take is one or two people to ruin your reputation before you have hardly got started. Honestly I wouldn't do it again. They are just not worth the bother and comments it causes. People who know nothing about you step in and before you know what has happened . You are the bad guy. It just isn't for me. I wouldn't put myself through it again.

    I can only speak from my own experience and to date have had no-one give me retaliatory feedback, but if I had, then I would no doubt feel verymuch the same as you do about it, and I wouldnt want to leave neg feedback either. As you say, its only the one or two who can very quickly ruin all the positives you receive and people read the feedbacks and become more wary of buying from you.
    Its a real shame though, as I never had any non payers from *you know where* but have certainly had my fair share of them on this side ~ altho, touch wood, not recently, other than one who has disappeared from the face of the earth since bidding on two of my items, so did leave her negative today, but that will be changed should i receive payment or an email explaining the delay.

    Hi Everyone
    I Believe That Everyone Should Leave The Appropriate Feedback,that Is What It Is There For.
    If You Get Good Service Etc Then Tell Everyone About,if It Was Bad Or Non Paying Etc Then People Also Need To Know That So It Does Not Hopefully Happen To Them.
    There Is No Point Having A Feedback System If We Are All Just Going To Write Nice Things.
    In The Past I Have Also Thought Twice About Leaving Neg Feedback But Not Now Cos In The End Non Payers And Bad Service Etc Takes Its Toll And Is Not Nice For Anyone.
    I Have Just Had A Non Payer Again But This Time I Have Left Negative Feedback For Non Payment And Yes In Return I Got Negative Back.
    This Is The Only Negative I Have Got,but Im Not Going To Worry About Too Much,i Have Added A Reply To It Stating They Were A Non Payer And I Am Sure That When Others Come To Read It They Can Make Their Own Mind Up,as I Know I Do.
    If People That I Am Bidding On Have Bad Feedback I Will Always Read The Comments And Also Where Possible Go In And Look At The Item Etc And Then Make My Mind Up
    A Lot Of Bad Feedback That People Get Is Just Where Others Dont Wait Long Enough For Delivery Or Most Of The Time Its Petty Things.
    But If Its Non Delivery Or Not Happy At All With Product Then Im Wary,if There Is A Few Or More Of Them.
    And You Said That You Could Rabbit!!!
