    Yep. It's not exactly horror, but it IS a very good story on both paper and screen. It's one of the very few movies that is almost identical to the book.

    Yes, one of the problems is that unless a movie is specifically made for TV - like some of his mini series - then the film gets hacked about and (often) badly edited so that the broadcasting channel can squeeze in a couple of dozen ad breaks. It often completely ruins the flow of the movie.

    As for the Dead Zone series, I'm can't say that I'm enjoying it as much as I thought I might. It seemed to have a good idea at the start with a definite underlying plot and the lead character's need to find out why WW3 starts. If that had been achieved within the first two series, I'd have been happy. Now it just seems that the studios are dragging it out for as long as possible because they've seen the show is popular. So now they're adding extra shows and extra series without advancing the story. Quite honestly I find that I can miss it for a couple of weeks and then not feel like I've missed anything at all.
