going to let me read some of your work?

It's prolly cos I pushed it right to one side when on the meds and have only recently started thinking about the boxes and boxes of writing I have in my closet! LOL, literally, they're in a big cupboard behind the door

Yeah, you can see some of it, I'll scan a couple of the articles I wrote, a critique of my work from the Independant on Sunday, and send you some of the bestest book via email (I have it on disk)...

(I've even been interviewed on the radio about it - but less said about that the better )

Kazzica, can I suggest that when your novel is finished, you buy the Writers and Artists Yearbook? Its published new every year by A. & C. Black, and is full of Publishing houses and addresses to send your work. Even magazines are included!
I agree with Rainbow that its a hard business to get into. I have two finished novels and loads of unfinished ones floating about! But I like to write so will not stop adding to them! The nearest I got to publication was when one manuscript was held for consideration!
Your novel sounds good, very detailed. Get somebody to check your spellings for you, thats no problem!
    Good luck!

I'd advise you NOT to worry about spelling and grammar right at the mo, this first stage: CREATIVE should not be held back by any problems you may have with English. Once you've written a first draft, THEN start editing and spell checking.

There's nothing worse than stopping at every word cos you think it's wrong, just let the writing flow during the creative phase

i'm creative even when revewing my work i read how much i've got then add and change bits so they sound better.

lol....thats the advice I give to my OH!! He sits and writes ideas down when he gets 'em, and I say not to worry about spelling, just get the plot down!! When he's finally done, I edit for him!

i cut the amount i'm going to do to one book as a trillogy for a first attempt is a bit too ambious.
