Clear skies and sunshine here on the Costa Del Tip'on..... And the BBC's 5 day forecast for the local area makes no mention of snow, it's going to be sunny with moderate visibility until next week. This bad weather stuff is just scaremongering!!!!!

Yesterday we got hit by hail as we walked back through the car park from the hospital. S*ds Law, the only available parking slot is always half a mile away at the opposite end of the hospital behind the mortuary, so we were frozen and soggy by the time we got back to the car.
This morning is frosty. Too cold for snow thank goodness. The sun is shining so hopefully it will soon be too warm for snow. I live in hopes anyway. Snow is pretty, but they don't salt the roads here any more, just send a tractor with a blade round. This just compacts the snow down to ice. You can drive on snow, but once they have finished you can't even walk on the road. No footpaths here either. I always have a good supply of tinned food, dried milk etc. to cover for the inevitable power cuts, and 2 freezers full to cover the rest of the time.

Nothing here. A friend in Wales has got a couple of inches of snow, her kids have a snow day and are happily pelting each other with snowballs.
