I agree, females should be able to dress anyway they like, but they should also know that if they show off too much, they get the wrong people looking, if a female wears a see-thu top and skirt and has little to no underwear on, that is her choice, but their are risks with wearing it, the lady should understand the risk, but she is not responible

If you read my posts, you will see what I am saying. And guess what? I know only too well, as I have put a man in jail myself.

It may surprise you, Tracey, that It is well documented ,in 70% of the cases the victim knows their assailant.

That doesn't surprise me at all, both times it happened to me, they weren't strangers. The first time WAS pent up sexual desire (fuelled also by alcohol).

You're right, it is, speaking personally I dealt with a lot, but it was surprising how many would not take it further after the initial report..!! Shame realy, rape is rape. IMO

This all began because of the survey quoted on the news. A survey that apparently states percentages which are meant to relate to the entire population - yet they only asked just over a thousand people.

Seems to me that asking such a small number of people and then scalling up the result as though they'd spoken to nearly sixty million people, has got to be wrong.

How do we know that the thousand people they spoke to were properly representative of the entire country, across all social, economical and cultural groups? The results they quote could be complete rubbish, but still the news channels and papers quote them as though there were set in stone.

Women might be silly enough to walk about looking like they want it, but it still doesn't give a man a right to rape them. A woman, man, or child NEVER deserves to be hurt sexually.

Thats an interesting point...rape within marriage. I agree that rape is rape whether between married people or single ones. But what about when the tables are turned, and the wife yells 'rape' when it isn't? Honeyant said the police rarely get involved in such cases? Not true. From personal experience I know that a relative of mine was accused of rape by his wife, and was thrown straight into jail without bail allowed. The claim was false, but the guy went thru hell for months on end. I am so angry at the unfair way he was treated, and the fact that he was punished for something he did not do.

The problem is that there is no way for the bloke to prove that he "had permission" short of recording it. The majority of women are not going to let a bloke anywhere near her if he has to start thinking and acting like a lawyer just as they are trying to get passionate.

But thats the point I am trying to make. Where there is no evidence to support either side of the tale...why are the blokes automatically seen as guilty because the woman says so??
