Oh yeah, timeshare sales and security at a straight brothel were my less glam jobs. (they knew the women would be "safe" after all....)
If the cap doesn't fit, why choose to wear it?

even if you never sell anything it its so cheap now you can even upload and order a book of dodgy drawings or poems just for fun.

and if you have some decent work, well they make great gifts - and you can even sell 'em online if you want ( a tesoc/amazon online listing costs about £300 to set up, no guarantee anyone will buy though!)

they only print them when they're sold - so there's no risk - if the cost is £4 and you charge £8 (+ shipping) they dropship them for you and send you about £3.10.

    well worth a look.

lightningsource is cheaper but less user friendly.
Hmm! Thanks Charlie! I always shyed away from vanity publishers, but this seems a bit more fun/easy/cheap/what I'd want!

vanity publishing starts at about £3K and is something different altogether. (in its true sense, though doing this could be seen as vain, though no more than spending six quid on a hair style i guess) this is little more costwise than buying a decent ring binder lets face it, hardly vain at all. I mean even filing a paperback is easier than hanging onto a manuscipt.

This is totally new, it will likely revolutionises publishing (in due course) no one will be ordering print runs of 5000 books + within a couple of years

I guess its a bit like how burning your own Cd's changed music. obviously, there's a lot of dross about but think what daniel bedingfield did from did from his bedroom - writers now have very similar tools.

Im a big fan, try one of your own, just to get a feel eh...

Its nice reading what jobs others have had, mine are pretty boring in comparison LOL

    Newsagent assistant

Supermarket cashier (longest (2yrs lol, the rest Ive had were all temporary) & worst job Ive had, the customers were lovely, it was the staff that were mean)

    Admin assistant at a hospital

    Office junior (just computer work)

I have always wanted to write a book. Ive had this interest ever since I was at primary school.
I have written some pages before, then gave up and threw them in the bin LOL.
But I am thinking of trying again one day. It would be nice to sit on the beach with a laptop typing one up
Im also good at drawing logo's so am looking for ways I could make some cash from that. My brother has started designing tshirts, so I might follow him with that, or I might try birthday or xmas cards.

And Im also doing some modelling for some stock photography which I hope to turn into a full time business with my bf (who is the photographer) one day. That is our dream anyway, but Ive been too lazy to do any for ages

I was hoping one day to become self employed doing ebay, but what with all those rules & regulations about not being able to sell branded clothes or make up anymore, I just cant be bothered with it, but you never know...maybe one day, if I havent forgotten how to do it as I havent really done it for weeks and weeks lol

Does anyone know of anywhere I can send my logo's off to?
I did one of ebay which my Mum said I should send to ebay, but do you think they would accept it?

    Thanks

My first job was building roller shutter doors during the summer between leaving 6th Form and going to Uni. The money wasn't much, but I enjoyed it. Since then, I've worked for the same company in a variety of guises in different jobs: Admin and Office Moves Co-Ordinator, IT Assistant, Operations Analyst, PC Support and now IT Customer Service Co-Ordination.
