im going to be in cyprus then...

i think the tradition was to throw things on the roof for the spirits to eat, but it would just attract pigeons.... so cant seeing my parents going in for it somehow...

but knowing most greek cakes it would be a bit sticky

I'm not having a Halloween party this year... E is going trick or treating wit her friend well... what I think she really is going to do is go to the park with her friend and tell each other scary stories and scare each other silly! LOL

I have promised E we will set a spare placemat at the table though to honour the ancestors.

ahhhh now who was it that told me to do that with salt last year?? a little dish of salt in each corner of the house I think it was and bury it every new moon ???
My little un was having trouble with "visitors" freaking him out in our new house - I think he is used to them now though
