Smallest dog in the world??

This is the 'Prague Ratter,' the smallest dog in the world. I had the pleasure of holding one last night, and it (she) was SOOO cute! At 8 inches tall, she was fully grown!
I would love one - tho my cats weren't sure exactly what it was!!

If I get another dog - it will be a Dachshund (also known as a Sausage Dog) - they remind me of shrunken labradors!

I do know that its nickname is the 'pocket dog!'
Its actually a very old breed from the Czech Republik which very nearly died out, but has been revived recently.
As you can tell from it's name, Prague Ratter, it was bred originally to hunt and kill rats , and was kept by royalty.
And yes, it is carried around in a shoulder type bag!!!!!!!
