Unhappy Any non-Europeans able to validate credit cards with NetBanx?

I'm still not having any luck getting my credit card validated to bring the eBid population up by one. I'm not going to chase this much longer, but I thought I'd put out one more plea.

I got a call from my Visa card company. They were asking me if $1 transactions coming from the UK were valid. I OKd them all. (NetBanx tickles my credit card each time I try to validate with another permutation of my address vs. house number vs. 9-digit zip vs. 5-digit zip.) So I know NetBanx is able to get at my account without any trouble. But I end up with the "something's wrong with your card" message each time.

Since this Visa card is working fine everywhere else in the world... I suspect there's something wrong with NetBanx itself going overseas.

Can anyone corroborate this story? Any hope I can get a raincheck on the US Gold offer until NetBanx can get this straightened out?

Odd, I'm in the US, and had no trouble getting my Visa card validated for Gold access. I only tried once though. I left the "start date" at the default setting, since my card had no "start date". Did you put the card verification code (3 numbers on the signature panel of your card) in the right place? The multiple attempts at validation may have set off your bank's "possible fraud" thing.

    Unhappy Validation outside US

I wasn't able to validate either... but I wasn't even able to get as far as the "your card is invalid" mentioned. Just nothing in Konqueror or Firefox from the entry screen.

Sorted! I was able to validate once (very carefully!) with the wife's Visa card. Hopfully the card police won't be calling her too...

Are you on FireFox 1.0.7? Their form is definitely strange - I tried it once from my Linux box and the font sizes would switch back and forth. Also... you don't have any filtering proxies like Privoxy or anthing in the way, do you?
