I just hope the advice helps people should anything happen.

Just as long as people put it in place ASAP and then practice using it. If there are any problems or kinks in the plan, it is far better to find out now instead of later when the emergency is real.

It should also help the kids too. I know that the biggest problem most kids will face is fear. Having a well practiced plan can help alleviate fear.
