Just had multiple suspicious purchases from:

notsoposh

Has a -20 negative feedback

WHY oh why is this allowed to happen???

Surely if a person is an intended NPB, then they should be struck off after 3 reports Of Non Payment!?!?

Come on G&M...Give us MORE protection!

sheesh we're getting a lot of them lately arent we noticed a similar thread just last week where some no-life tosser had run up £20k worth of NPB's

I guess maybe the problem is that the morons go in and just buy up all the auctions they can in a matter of hours and by the time the feedback gets left they have already conned christ knows how many people.

But the best action for ebid to take will be suspending the accounts permanently because that way they can prevent them from registering again Unless the gits use completely false actual addresses and have multitudes of email addresses. Think I'll shut up now before I give them any ideas!!

Could well be the same one .... I got done this morning on 15 auctions, though support have sorted it super quick I'm pleased to say.

Just noticed notsoposh started a thread in the bidding forum yesterday just saying Good Morning which is a bit of a strange place to say that... oooops! noone replied!

Sooooo I'm gonna keep me eyes peeled now for any more like that and block em quick! Either that or say good morning back pronto!

Probably not recognised as a NPB because had a 0 feedback this morning, which I quickly brought down to -18... the number of Buy it Nows that I found she'd tried to wreck this morning!!

Have since had an e-mail from the boys to say she's been sorted and am now in the process of getting my gallery fees refunded.

There seem to be far too many loopholes to being able to just register as a bronze member and then be set free to create havoc on here for genuine folk. This particular sad case was registered as Rebecca Loos!... hence the user name she picked for herself.

Serial tossers like this were the subject of a thread a year or so back where a person registers, ruins hundreds of auctions & goes.



I suggested that ALL new registrations should be charged through credit or debit cards (or even by cheque).

I suggested a £5 joining fee, refundable after (e.g.) 3 positive feedbacks.



Boy did I get flamed for that one.
