.....no, not the KT.....the national lottery...I watched a quiz show on Saturday where a phone-in contestant won...wait for it....25,000 lottery tickets.
When the "winnings" were totted up it amounted to just over £1.000!!!!!!!........think about it, would amount to a loss of over £23,000....I've always thought the lottery was a load of shyte and if anyone still buys a ticket with their hard earned dosh after watching that show they want their heads seein to.
The lottery panders to the rainbow chasing masses....the dreamers....who try and convince themselves with the old chestnut...."someone's got to win".......

Daily i enjoy some of the resources my losses have helped fund and to be honest, for a quid, i simply dont know of a better buzz - but you're right, we really dont stand a chance...

Oh i agree, its tragic i guess 'cos im certain some folk use the lottery as their ONLY beacon of hope, you know "that was a shi tty week/month/year, never mind we might win the lottery next week/month/year" and thus, they stop trying - the lottery for many is the death of real ambition.

Statistically of course, you're more likely to drown in your own bath water -- but planning around that is a lot less fun....
