eBooks are not allowed on eBid. They will be removed and offending sellers will have accounts placed on hold.

Why are ebooks banned ?? , you can buy an ebook on amazon and other book sites but not on ebid

Hi There Gazza, l appreciate that l am new but why do you not allow digital ebooks for sale by the author and copyright owner?
As you are aware ebooks come in all categories and a re a source of pleasure for many people, can you let me know please because as a new member if l and my members of my two membership sites can't sell ebooks it is pointless becoming a member of ebid.

I have to agree with you on this point , the last time I bought a book on amazon I had the option to buy it as an ebook ..if there was a section for them and they were not in other sections I don't see a problem with them..JMO

Yes, many times on that other site people have left bad f/b: "I was expecting a book through the post!" etc.
If there were a separate, <I>clearly</I> headed, sub-category for them here, I think it could mean quite a few more sellers/buyers on the site.

yes a seperate category would be a good idea , I have bought recipe ebooks on ebay and have been very pleased with them
