    Thats a weird one.
Some times my tv can go PINK/BLUE .... usualy if you wiggle the scart lead or take it in and out it sorts it.
I was told that the pins inside relate to diff colours in the back of the appliance. Dunno if there is any truth in that.
Have you tried removing cables and switching off. Re insterting cables and switching back on em ?

checked all the cables elaine they seem fine - its been switched off overnight and this happened yesterday as well as today - ah well just did it again and moving the processor seems to have fixed it again - ah well not the end of the world lol can still see the words on it which is the main thing

Are you talking about your PC Monitor or your T.V.?

When you say your kicking your processor, what does that mean? Are you kicking the computer case?

It could be down to a couple of easy to resolve problems. Perhaps your VGA cable was worked loose. Your VGA cable (pictured below) runs from the back of your monitor to the Graphics card in your PC (the connection is located at the back of the computer case). Check both ends of the cable are firmly in place.

It could also be down to the graphics card, it may be unseated from it's port on the motherboard. You might need reseat it, sounds technical but all your doing is pushing the card firmly back into the slot.

There are other possibilities but i'd look at these two first of all, checking the VGA cable first.
