I can soooooo empathise with that guy on the video. LOL!
Wicked !
That's the same video they use to train NTL no-help desk staff in India LOL
From what I've experienced lately, I think NTL and AOL share the "no-help-at-all" staff. I asked for help over a minor problem I had. On being given a set of instructions I said I didn't think the advice was right, and was told I had to do as she said or she couldn't help me. Then she cut me off. After following their advice , I could no longer connect to AOL , lost all "My Favourites", [3 years worth of Websites I use constantly] and my PFC disappeared as I had to completely uninstall and reinstall the AOL Disk. Good Game. I asked on the Message Boards for help as the problem reappeared a couple of days later. It appears I only had to click on AOL Connectivity and opt for repair. Problem solved... so why didn't the "no-help-at-all" staff know that?
oops ddint realise it was a 26MB file. currently trialling 8MBit broadband service and so my downloads are fast.
I just love the scene when he caller unplugs the computer and the guy's reaction to that.
If you click on the "Crappy Windows Media Version" (or whatever it says) just underneath, you get a smaller, much clearer video to watch.
