Thread: Announcement: YDC23

  1. #1

    Default Announcement: YDC23

Is it just me or has this come around very quickly this time around ?

As usual can folks please keep this thread bumped so that everyone gets a chance to read it, thanks.

Please note that for this month only the £10 limit has been removed, so you can list items of any value this month. I just want to see if people take advantage of it and if it would be as well to remove the £10 rule in the future ?

    Anyway, here goes !...

The listing period for YDC23 is from midnight friday June 24th through to midnight sunday June 26th

    Featured Charity.

This months featured charity is Bichon Frise Rescue which was chosen by the winner of YDC22 which was Babs.

You can find out about the charity and about how to donate by visiting their website @ www.bichonfriserescue.co.uk/

For those who have not taken part in YDC before here is a copy of the rules...

    Please read all the rules

    1) For this month only the £10 limit has been removed. So you may list items of any value.

    2) You MUST put YDC23 in the auction title, the auction must be a standard auction and run for 7 days.

    3) Your auction must be hosted on eBid and it must NOT break eBids rules.

    4) You MUST list your item between midnight friday and midnight sunday.
Even ONE MINUTE too early or too late will mean that your auction will NOT be accepted in YDC.

    5) You MUST add one of the following to your description:
    A) This auction is an entry in YDC, it is not a charity auction.
    B) This auction is an entry in YDC, money raised will go to.....(Add the name of the charity to which the money is going )

    6) You must not mislead the buyers. Please be truthfull.

    7) You may list a maximum of 5 items in each competition.

8 ) The auction MUST be hosted on Ebid and not any other auction site.

For more information about YDC please go to www.YDC-Info.co.uk .

Anyone can join in YDC, not just forum members but absolutely anyone. So if you have a friend who might have a laugh taking part in YDC (selling or bidding) then tell them to come and join in the fun.

I'd like to see emphasis on daft auctions again this month if possible, we had some good ones last month.

I think I've covered everything. All thats left for me to do is to wish you all good luck, so...

    Good luck folks !

Put an aution on for a day of sunshine on the last YDC, have just given you all a few days free sunshine as a taster, hope you are all enjoying it, I might have to take it back if I decide to put the auction back on for this YDC, as you all would have got used to the sun you might have to pay me big bucks to get it back.

    hehehehehehhehehe

Bump this thread as it needs the top spot.

Pity G&M can't fix this thread to stay on the top like they have done to the welcome thread.

Come on G&M do your bit for charity, fix it so that this thread does not have to keep being bumped
