    lol.
Paypal break their own terms and conditions all the time. I offer lots of ways to pay with no additional fee- this is my way of letting people know they have a choice!

Paypal is owned by ebay so you charging for them on ebid they cant do anything about it. As ebid is not their company. I also charge 5% to add to final fee if buyers use that option. I did try using PPPay but for some reason it wont work for me I believe ive been through the penny thingy whatever that is, but PPPay tells me to do summat says "creedit card already registered." and wont let me pay sellers for their items. So i end up emailing them apologies as theres always a link from the auction and i think yea its gotta work this time, but never does. I did use PPPay once when i first started at ebid, but since then it refuses to work for me. People keep saying use option 2, but i do and it still refuses to let me pay sellers.
Anyway ebay & paypal are over rated and im a former ebay left there due to constant harrassment from ebay regulations. Thing is i wasnt breaking any regulations. But they kept spying on me and suspending me. So now im considering taking ebay to court. See what my brief says first as ebay have broken some rules too i have evidence in my emails. heh heh

Nochex and Direct Bank Transfer. I think many buyers don't realize how easy it is to use direct bank transfer - just like paying any other bill and much faster than a cheque.

I have just had a sale fall through (just under £300 worth) because the buyer did not want to pay by cheque or use the direct bank transfer facility, so I have decided to add another payment method. Pppay and their long winded verification proccess seems to be a non starter and Paypal is too expensive. I have found that there isn't one payment method that covers all bases. The closest seems to be Nochex so I am going to give them a go.

Yes PayPal can be expensive, but if 98% of buyers perfer PayPal, your at their mercy.

Yeah but with Nochex you don't actually have to be a member to pay through their service. This is for amounts upto 100 quid which can be paid for via credit or debit card. So if the amount is 100 quid or less its irrelevant which method they prefer cause they don't need to sign up. The only flaw with Nochex that stops it hitting all the stops is that any amount above 100 quid requires you to sign up and considering you have to sign up to use Paypal for any amount then its no big deal.

This is true, but if you ask a buyer what method they would prefer, Nochex or PayPal, 9 out of 10 will say PayPal.

i don't know about those figures but if there is any truth in that it reinforces my idea that popularity is not always a sign of quality.
