When you register with ebay, you have to have either credit card details or a proper email address, no hotmail or yahoo rubbish.

Do you not think that this would help build confidence in ebid and add a little needed security?

p.s Anyone noticed ebays front page auctions have dropped a hell of a lot!

I don't see how registering a credit card will make a difference. Having a checked out address and/or phone number that belongs to the user is better.

Credit cards can be cancelled in seconds, also stolen cards can be used. My business is constantly getting people trying to make payents with stolen cards. :evil:

Eb*y might not allow Hotmail email addresses over here in the Uk.....

But they do on Eb*y.com.....The USA ebay
