how do i make a link to auctions in forums work

what do i type to make the click here to view my auctions link work right in forums.

Mine goes to the ebid home page not to my auctions.

This use to work ok as it was info supplied on these forums when i joined but since the big ebid site update it dosnt.

Right go to user CP, signature in the link put in

http://uk.one.ebid.tv/perl/main.cgi?...arch&type=user



next to cgi?words= then your user name

this any good

Find the link to your auctions, eg http://uk.three.ebid.tv/perl/main.cgi?words=myusername&mo=search&type=user
where myusername is whatever your auction id is

Then in user control panel -> edit signature
type the words you want eg CLICK HERE FOR MY GOODIES
highlight them
then click the symbol for adding a link (the globe looking icon) and paste in the url where your auctions are.

Okay when you click onto CP signature in the box write wot you want to show ie click here for my auctions then click on the little box above (one that looks like world with glasses on) then another box appears which is the link box, put in this box the above link the http one in the url. and then you have your signature that you want to show comming up instead of the link showing.

click on the little box above (one that looks like world with glasses on) Thats the bit that is not shown or i cant find it so cant click on it.

Hi...... I think you need to change the setting for Message Editor Interface, sounds like yours is set at Basic......you need to go into 'userCP' then Edit Options .... at the bottom of the page under Miscellaneous Options change the Message Editor Interface to 'Enhanced Interface'

you should then get the icon on the message box
