Bus companies and the blokes in charge of them often come under fire from the public, and rightly so more often than not. So it's nice to see them (the bus company) get something right now and again.

we've something similar down here, linking the villages to the local towns, they are buses with designated routes etc but you can pre book them, and they can be booked to pick you up at your door.

I'd not heard of this kind of bus service before, they're a damn good idea. Around here there are several remote pockets of houses dotted about at the top or half way up hillsides, so I think the service will be well used and kept busy, especially in the summer months when we get the day-trippers and walkers visiting the area.
