Thread: payout process

  1. #1

    Default payout process

I'm registered with a credit card only.
What is the payout process after selling an item on Ebid?

When you listed your items, what payment methods did you check in the boxes? I would recommend that you at least sign up to Paypal and allow that as a payment method. But if your items are collection only you could simply accept cash. May be worth mentioning in your listing descriptions what methods you accept and prefer.

eBid do not force themseles into the payment process. So the buyer pays by which ever method you allow: stripe, paypal, cash, cheque[?] etc.
Once a month eBid send you an invoice for their small fees that they take from your registered card once over about £$€0.5

Yes, isn't it refreshing, after all the BS interference of obay. Such a welcome contrast.

I think you'll find it worth setting up a paypal account, because you want your buyers to see a payment method they're familiar with and trust. And if you offer paypal, even if they don't have a paypal a/c I think they can then pay you with their credit card through paypal.

Importantly, Paypal offers a simple customer guarentee process, which many buyers recognise as a good protection against scammers.

Without question that helps buyers when considering buying.

I only use paypal as a payment method and that really works for me.
