Thread: eBid app removed from Apple store?

  1. #1

Question eBid app removed from Apple store?

I can’t find this app in the Apple Store, and it doesn’t seem to receive any updates.

Has eBid decided not to support the mobile platform anymore?

A few months ago I looked for the Android version on the Play Store. Not there either.

With 5 times as many people using smartphones now than PCs, it seems like a no brainer to have a good ebid app available.

Curious. Just checked again, doesn't show up on mine. Phone is quite old by modern standards though, probably Android 11, I don't know if that would make a difference.

Do you find the app useful? What do you use it for?

I expected to use it for uploading pictures for listings, as I do for oBay, but I've arrived at a different workflow these days, having worked out how to move pics from phone to desktop pc via wifi.

I have listed items in the past with the app but tend to list on my laptop, i mainly use it for when i have sold items and have to go into the garage to find them, or if i am away and sell something or get questions i use it then, i find it handy for the above uses especially when away or on holidays, when you list a item it gives you the option to upload a picture/s from you device or to take a new picture which appear immediately on the listing i personally think it is faster and easier to upload pictures on the app than my laptop but i prefer the laptop

Thanks, sounds useful. I hope it shows up in my Play Store eventually. Strange it doesn't.
