I had tried Google Chrome. Only had it for 2 weeks and got rid of it because I had soooooo much junk mail coming in.

Right now, using Foxfire and almost no spam mail. ( maybe 3 a year )
I also have Edge because I couldn't post to BlueSky with Foxfire.

I am planning on downloading Opera. Don't really like Edge.

Foxfire is the bioluminescence created by some species of fungi present in decaying wood.

If you mean Firefox, that's a web browser. As are Opera and Edge. I have no idea how a web browser could relate to your susceptibility to spam mail.
