I've stopped listing here and although it takes only an hour to cross list, I see no results but the good thing is I now have an hour to spend working on my garden which needs lots of work

When you cross list do you take care to change the title, so search engines don't see your listing as a duplicate and discard them? I believe that was my own mistake several years ago when I tried listing 100 items here and on ebay, and was very disappointed with the result.

I do them all manually so I can adjust, anyone that just imports all eBay etc listings is making a huge mistake because the importer is not ideal EG the ISBN/UPC/EAN/MPN (Barcode) box will probably see 50% having rubbish in it but as I have mentioned before Google shopping really doesn't work now meaning no ones listings are being seen often

I know some people here put a lot of faith in GS, I have to admit I do wonder why? But their choice, - clearly is not showing much success for anyone these days.

I'm all for trying different venues and different ideas as things here are sad and its like pulling teeth!
I fail to see why plug your auctions would work either? You are only advertising to a handful of regulars on the boards - the majority never even visit here. Besides its new customers that are needed, people who have never heard of ebid - of which there are many.
Better off trying to sell ebid and your products via facebook, ebid needs promoting, but that really should be the job of the owners.

Many of us have been down the advertising, branded tape etc road before and most have given up mentioning it
