The internet & digital age has changed very much the way we live! - I don't sell in person either, I was suggesting a short visit to leave your eBid shop details and perhaps check out the stamp and postcard market. The PUC £1 was a good marker at one time but prices have plummeted somewhat.

I have noticed that prices have dropped - but the PUC £1 is wanted by a dealer not far from me, when I really want to part with it (and other quality items)

I usually reckon I'm pretty good at figuring out acronyms. I had to search for that one, dozens of possibilities, still none the wiser. Pants Up Crack was one answer.

It's a legend to stamp collectors,John. I'm amazed that I've reached the point where I'd rather have the money!

Postal Union Congress! Perfect Unused Condition is MUH (mint unhinged - not crazy but with perfect gum on the back which has never been touched by a stamp hinge).

More seriously - I started listing some of the gems of my stamp collection and one Penny Black sold very quickly.

    Thanks both you and @TheStampBook.

I think I have some lower value 1924 George V stamps, but memory dim now.

You raise a good point about Mint Unhinged. I think back in the day I used hinges for everything. So presumably devalued. And many would be used, either soaked or steamed off. I was young, I was enthusiastic, I knew so little.
