My query Is How you get the extra text embeded into your ad.
It goes before the description page. But when you list there is no option for it
As in This section where the seller is on holiday... How do i use this box, and where is it on listing page. Thank you.

The one in the blue box.

It might not be apparent but you can have multiple notices active, but only one can be shown in a category & or subcategory. i.e. Location in each notice on the main page as John indicated.

Set the active indicator on or off as you wish.

Morning Financial Funseekers, Bargain Blockbusters Available This Week, you bet.

652 UK active stores today, up 2 stores on last Saturday at 650. Slow progress

Why look at stores - they show members commitment to the site. Give a sort of indication about the trends of new Platinum sellers (who get free stores) and indicate that they have a specific types of goods that they want to be found more easily by the casual visitor to eBid. Surprised that even more people are not using this Platinum seller free tool. Perhaps we need more people to commit to the site and become Platinum sellers.

UK listings today 4,420,416 Last week 4,391,692

USA listings today 3,841,464 Last week 3,822,678

Canada listings today 3,443,869 Last week 3,420,904

Germany listings today 3,452,801 Last week 3,418,938

France listings today 3,443,323 Last week 3,409,356

    All Up !

Please note, there will be duplicated figures as one seller may list the same item in a number of countries

    All Significantly DOWN !

Now this drop could be due to fantastic sales or this could be due to sales withdrawls because of the Trump Tarrif effect. I would like to think it's sales

All marginally UP, averaging appx 75K. With eBay so dire at the moment these figures are not encouraging

All marginally UP, typivally by about 3K, except America, with about 500. It's summer, and nobody wants to deal with America - I wonder why

I'll admit to being the guilty party in deleting a store, I had an experimental store running but realised it wasn't going to work as I wanted so I axed it...

I'd just like to point out that having commitment to ebid doesn't only rely on having a shop / shops as I'm sure you would confirm. There are probably thousands of members who, like myself, have been here for years but don't have the numbers or varied types of listings that need shop(s).

But we are still as committed to the site as shop owners, quite likely paying fees regularly to use Platinum Listings, possibly at intervals paying for a shop short-term and paying higher rate FVFs on all our sales.

I'm not saying that the number of shops isn't an indication of membership commitment, just that it isn't the only one there is. Listing, selling and paying fees all support Ebid, probably even better is buying here whenever possible. That supports both the site and its sellers. Even leaving aside the financial support the Activity of members without shops contributes to the site's stats. Adding to the site's visits, listing numbers and sales.

But thanks again for your up-dates they do show that ebid is heading in the right direction, even if it's slow progress.

Now off to add another listing to the site's total
