So I was looking at the buddy point auctions and wondered.

Am I expected to bid and then wait several months, or over a year for the listing to finish?

I was under the impression that the auctions are cut short before their expired date and you do not lose your points if your bid is unsuccessful. but.....

Member billsstamps is in the know how. Perhaps he can clarify or someone else?
