Morning all
Was browsing through new listings on Ebid and came across some sellers who have hundreds of feedback. Do you know if their feedback total has most likely been imported from other sites such as Obay?

There have been problems importing recently; some sellers have been on eBid for very many years, other sellers are listing 100K items so should have a higher FB. Others have imported FB a few years ago.
On the whole I find people do not leave FB since eBay discredited the concept by not allowing sellers to comment on buyers and some buyers used -ve as leverage to get a post sale discount.
Many eBid buyers arrive at the item for sale via a off-site method eg google shopping, so to them it's just a sale of goods not a transction.
Don't worry about FB too much, sell near unique stuff at a fair price and people will find you.
As you are in Belfast how is selling to the UK, USA and the EU affecting your sell stats and methods
I think the problems with importing FB have been resolved. See 'Site Updates'.
You can always tell if a seller has imported FB, they don't get the original comments. All that is imported is that the FB was positive and the statement by Ebid that "This FB was officially imported into Ebid......"
