But don't take my word for anything medical, do your own research and try not to filter your info so it supports whatever prejudices you have. For example, do a search for 'are masks effective for reducing the spread of covid?'. And look at where those hits come from to decide if they may be reputable. I see

Those are just the first 3 hits I got, using duckduckgo. All from organisations that seem far more deserving of respect than anything coming out of the White House these days.
But if you find this kind of thing unconvincing, fair enough, live your life as you wish. I only hope that you'll avoid encouraging others to make life choices that adversely affect others in their community.
