Damn. That didn't work too well. I need to rtfm on how to format stuff here!
So much to learn, so little time!
The nice thing about Ebid is that the community is so forgiving!

Not true, just because us business sellers get cross with so called private sellers is because they buy from the same wholesalers and undercut businesses. All my items have been low value no more than £20, did fine for years both there and Amazon. Given them both up, Amazon due to them wanting full verification for the 3rd time and ebay due to unregistered businesses. What I have left is either listed here or on our own site for local people to buy.
I don't know anything much about selling postcards, but one thing I notice from your FB. All the cards you've bought have the name of the place first, like "Bostal Heath" or "Butlins Clacton" with details following. The one you sold had a title of "Postcard Lancashire Blackburn" and some that haven't sold (yet) start with dates or "3 x".
If buyers are searching for Butlins Clacton, Blackburn Lancashire or any other place, aren't they likely to type that in the search box first, rather than a date or number? Might your titles be more likely to gat a sale with the place name first and the date or number of cards at the end?
Just a suggestion, ask yourself what you typed in the search box when you bought cards from other sellers.? It's what the buyer types that counts, the nearer your title is to that the more likely you are to sell?

Since you've not quoted anyone nor said what's not true, although I suspect you're responding to me I don't know what you're saying. I think we agree that ebay needs to think about the situation with unreg'd sellers who are trading.
Likewise I don't know who you're responding to here, Dave.
C'mon guys, using the quote facility or at least giving a bit of context... it's not so hard, is it? Won't someone think of the children^Wreaders! I hope Simpson refs don't fly over anyone's head!
But I must stop chattering on the forums. A neighbour has just given me some Epson ink cartridges to clear out, seems like time to create my first Ebid listing in a long while. \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/
