    eBid is and improved version of eBay from my experience. There is a learning curve as with anything, but once you learn how to process auctions from start to finish, it's worth it. I only wish the response from ebid help was better. When I first started ebid, response time was a day or two max. Now no response from ebid when I submit a help ticket. I don't see any improvements on things I suggest be improved in terms of listing. I am not sure if ebid help is active anymore based on the dates of several of these post and no response from ebid help or from forum moderators. Hopefully in 2025 there will be more ebid help support and quickly. ebid is still better than just about every other auction site when it comes to how to list items especially in bulk. It's good, but could be great with some small improvements.

    Hi Mark.

    I remember your "Payment Received" thread on the "After the Auction" forum and am glad that Support resolved the issues.

    Did they ever get to the bottom of why you were not getting notifications of sales from Ebid? If so could you let us know what was wrong and how they fixed it please?

    There were other sellers who also had the same problem intermittently and some all the time. It might help them and anyone else in the future if you could add an explanation to the end of your thread for future reference?

    I had a few problems of notifications going to my Spam Folder, it hasn't happened since before you started your thread, but it would be good to know how to stop it if it ever happens again.

    Good to see you're getting sales here.

    Hi, I still have to mark items as payment received as we never solved that, support said it were probable that if buyers were purchasing without logging in but that didn't make much sense to me as the buyers were telling me that they have to mark it at their end as payment sent' it doesn't really bother me, I still don't get app notifications but i do get ebid email and paypal notifications and as it turned out i had some how added ebid to my email blocked list, ooops not sure how or why i did that, But i keep selling the odd magazine which is good.

    @Mark4740.

    It's weird but I see your point. The main thing is you're getting ebid email notifications of sales now. Not sure if Support saying that you somehow added Ebid to your blocked list by accident is right. I certainly didn't change anything in my emails, like adding ebid to my Spam List, but for a while a few of my ebid notifications went to Spam. I thought it happened because yahoo had changed something! But it does suggest, as some said on your thread that the fault was with our email service, rather than ebid's Notification systems?

    I don't know anything about the App so can't comment.

    @toolbug.

    Did you see my plinths on the Sold items on the Home Page?

    Yes, BIN items paid for on Sunday and posted yesterday, both RUS listings from April and November '24. The buyer made their first purchase on ebid in July '23 and has become a repeat buyer although, so far, has only bought from me.

    Fingers crossed that they leave FB, it will take me to 100FB score, something I was hoping I would pass last year. Actual sales are now over 150 but with more tax increases already being touted for the Budget, I don't think sales will be booming this year, at least not for me.

    Hello all
    We have decided to sell here and have brought some of our customers with us from ebay. We have listed a few records (about 100) and we have actually sold two already. Now we are trying to figure out how to combine postage. We always did it at the old place and we cannot find where to do this here. We also need to figure out how to send invoices. We would be grateful for help. We are also looking to see for ourselves.... didn't expect to be selling so soon. Nice problem to have.

    Easy, use the ASL After Sales Log on any of the the Sold listings, Select send Invoice. There will be a drop down to select & include all other items to buyer.
    The invoice is generated, Add postage discount to the invoice, check finalise and send.
