Default Coins - right and wrong way to post?

    Hi,
Have had a quick look at old comments, but didn't see anything about the best way to post - assume that Royal Mail would not accept a claim for coins lost in post.
    Is that the case?
Not sure if coins can easily be detected when posting - is it a good idea to wrap in foil?
Only got a few coins to list, but would appreciate any tips.
    Many thanks,
    Marie.

I post coins taped inside two pieces of card - so they can't move - I've never lost any. If they are seriously valuable, use special delivery and then they are insured.

Thanks, Madelaine - great advice, and gives me confidence that I'm not going about it an very inexperienced manner!
    All the best,
    Marie.
