Size: 61.9 KBOhhhhh = marmalade! Yum! and what a cute bear.

Enjoyed an afternoon in the back yard (garden) drinking tea and savoring the view and fragrance of the rose bush that is stretched across the length of the fence in the backyard of our rental. Am starting to feel more at home here. Still boxes to unpack and sort through. More downsizing needed.

Since the weather has gotten so nice, it's quiet in here. Hope you are all doing well.

Your Majesty, glad to hear you are settling in your new home, it is nice to enjoy the garden before it gets to warm, seem to spend a lot of time watering pots. in the garden

Hope everyone is okay & that the heat is to much for everyone.

Thanks, Maple. Still heading to the old castle to finish clearing a couple cupboards and the man cave. This rental castle we are in is a lot smaller (which I like), so it's lots of trips to charity and the tip after Phillpott's 40 years of gathering things there. Probably should dredge the moat before we go - heaven knows what we'd find.

Woke up to cool damp air blowing in the bedroom window this morning. Had left the window quite wide open due to the heat.......this morning is lovely. A mist of rain makes it so fresh. The rose bush is so totally covered in white multiflora blooms that you can scarcely see any green. Amazing. I wonder how old it is. It's about 25+ feet long and around 12-15' high. The wind yesterday blew a lot of petals off like snow.

YEA! I'm going back to see my kids and grandkids in a couple days. First time in 3 years. Time to party! Take good care of yourselves. I'll still pop in and say hi!.

    Been away for a while.
Almost done with my late sister's estate and checking on my other sister's health.
I am so glad her daughter is coming over on a regular time to help her with her gardens and such. I figure that she would be gone by the end of the year.

I have finally finished the last gardening for a client. I won't see her until August to do some new plantings and weeding.
I added a few more client's for cleaning homes.

I decided with the prices of gas, that I would order heating fuel oil to try to defray the expense when winter comes. I only had 1/3 of the tank filled and that eats up the ss check. (I think I need more cats to keep warm this winter)

We had some very strong storms and now my gardens are almost barren. The wind just pulled off the flower petals and the colors disappeared.

Here's some photos of the gardens before the storms

Basically, from today is mainly my time to get to work on my home projects and gardens without too much interference from clients (beside their regular schedule times).

I have gardens to clean up , a chimney to tuck point, 2 garage doors to repair and 2 barn doors to repair, and plumbing to do, and . . . . yep lots of work that I hope will be done during this year.

We have been getting cool mornings (in the 60's) and by the end of the day high 80's and 90's.

    Getting back to the gardens.

Got another sale that will be shipped tomorrow.

Well isn't that about typical, first sale I've had on here for quite a while and when I checked it out before readying it for dispatch both the items I have in stock were incomplete, the major item of the three in the set was missing the same item so I had to cancel the order... First time I've ever been let down from this supplier... Not happy...

Thanks Maplegin, I can't moan too much about them, they've been dead reliable all the years I've used them, just galling when it happens...

We're lucky here as our garden faces east north east and get the morning sun across the patio but in the heat of the day we dip into the shadow of the house giving us a few hours of respite from the really hot stuff as we're not really sun worshippers.
