So I went to a mixed religion seminar...
The Christian Priest came, laid his hands on my hand and said, “By the will of Jesus Christ, you will walk today!”
I smiled and told him I was not paralysed.
The Rabbi came, laid his hands on my hand and said, “By the will of God Almighty, you will walk today!
I was less amused when I told him there was nothing wrong with me.
The Mullah came, took my hands and said, “Insha Allah, you will walk today!”
I snapped at him, “There’s nothing wrong with me”
The Buddhist Monk came, held my hands and said, “By the will of The Great Buddha, you will walk today!”
I rudely told him there was nothing wrong with me.
After the sermons, I stepped outside and found my car had been stolen.

I don't know about anyone but I think #1785 is demeaning and in very bad taste.
I am described perfectly, with the following exceptions:
a) BITCHY - Never! But I can be "By 'r Lady" sarcastic!!
B) SWEATY - You must be joking! I don't do enough to become sweaty!
Naturally, as I don't do much I have to get others to do what I need done. If I have to explain the job more than once, I become extremely PSYCHOtic! So there!
As most of you will know. by now, I am male and over 80 - so go and chase yourselves!!!
As a post menopausal woman, I found that joke hysterically funny and describes perfectly, every menopausal person I have known, including myself
My son once posted on Facebook "laughter is the best medicine, unless you are diabetic, then it's insulin"
He sat back and watched all the replies from people who got all bent out of shape on behalf of Diabetics everywhere, then told them he had been Diagnosed as Diabetic when he was 5. My son and I had previously seen a stand up comic on TV relate the same joke and both of us were in stitches lol

Firstly, I'm never demeaning about anyone, take everyone as they come and are first to champion anyone getting abused...
Secondly, I'm of an age when my female friends are of the age where they've been through the menopause and to a woman they have found that very very funny, no-one has taken any offence even mildly, many have in fact shared it themselves....
It seems to me you're quick on the uptake to be championing a view which in reality most people simply take as being light hearted humour without any malicious intent.
I suggest in future if you don't like my posts you simply pass on by.
I agree that most women in our age group would find it funny. If a little younger, perhaps not.
It is a pity though, that after two of us attempted to lower any temperature that might be rising, you had to add fuel to the flame. I could have thought of a much better rejoinder to Tony41, who had the best of motives I know.
