Default Benefits Of Joining Our FaceBook Groups

    Mine is HERE

I have only 31 members and I don't put a limit on postings. This makes sense when some of us have our own pages to share and multiple stores

The main benefit to my members is that I run through all the postings every day and share them with over 4000 people on my friend list.

Sorry not being a member of Facebook unable to even view your page, find this a problem as it is the only way to contact anyone sometimes, even with companies, it is a case of 'having to join the gang' but afraid I am resisting, don't like being spied upon, although I know it happens with anything you do on the net.

Read an article last week where someone who had a smartphone switched on and within a short space of time was receiving adds for things they were discussing, think I'll stick to my £9.99 Nokia pay as you go with no internet access as it seems the smart phones are too smart for me, I am the sort of person who when the computer says it cannot find the printer shouts at 'it's there sat next to you'.

Seems I will have to remain excluded from certain aspects of life.

I doubt I would be able to promote my business as well without social media.

I also share links from listings here from sellers that don't have a Facebook account

    Every little helps

That is so kind of you Moonie. 😊 I think I am just too old and out of date and patience with the modern techie world.

    You are very welcome.

I regularly see some really great items here that I share.

I'm home based just about full time now and if anyone can benefit from my Facebook hobby that's all good

My thanks also Moonie that is kind of you, I too am out of date and patience with modern technology. As you can see I cannot even put in a pic for posting on the forum and have only this week just changed my pic on the all about me page.

I have tried to link up a new printer to my laptop after dropping my last one but gave up in the end as patience was running thin and could have ended up with another broken printer so for the last 2 days it has been ignored.

I have been considering upgrading my sewing machine but even they are getting more techie, my present one which was a 21st birthday present from my parents and as I recently turned 65 like me the sewing machine is developing faults, and motor has given up completely (hope mine doesn't) hoping they can restart it when I finally take it for repair. The shop where I take it for service and repair have suggested buying a new one if it cannot be brought back to life but should I consider a computerised one that is the question, until the decision is made and the pennies allow Ill stick to using my Mum's old black singer. Any thoughts and experience on the new ones.

I think over the years as we grow older are brains have absorbed so much information we are running out of space to store more!!! My excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Is this for YDC or anyone on ebid?? and is it really necessary to answer the questions to gain entry?

I started the group for anyone on eBid to share experiences, ask questions and post links to their listings/stores and so on.

To answer your question about answering my questions for the group. I just added a new member today without them answering the question.

So it looks like it is down to me whether I accept someone whether or not they answer any questions.

To the nosey peeps here the questions are dead easy

    1. What is the YDC? (or some such thing)
    2. What can you bring to the group?
