Having no-one to tidy up the scraps is a serious side effect of doglessness. We are Uftonless as well - a very sudden stroke.

We are going to try to set up a relationship with someone else's dog using Borrowmydoggy. We would like to travel a bit more, while we are fit enough and not having to make arrangements for a dog makes it easier. However, I've now not spoken to a dog for a week and it really hurts!

These are the latest arrivals to the Frugaldom 'pet zoo' - Dobbin and Ginger. We've just adopted them from the local rescue centre.
Dobbin has been nicknamed, 'hairy wee hobbit', as he has really short legs and is the hairiest little pony I have ever seen. He's only 2 years old and was abandoned as a foal. GInger is at least 24 years old and endured a horrendous early life at the hands of the notorious Jamie Gray, in Amersham. Both are now safely ensconsed at Frugaldom and receiving daily attention.
