That's a fabulous result, Trish and should be some party!
Well done everyone, another goodly amount raised for some wonderful concerns.
Thanks Trish for finalising the total for Bradwell. I have been a bit busy with stuff at home so I hoped I was getting it all correct !
Let's hope they can have a celebration of sorts at the home, not sure it would be a good idea for me to turn up in kilted atire, would be too much of a shock for them.
Anyway all that's left to be said is, thanks once again to all who took part in this month's YDC, bidders, buyers, and sellers and next month we can do it all over again.
Hi fellow YDC'ers!
You must be wondering about what happened to our cheque for Bradwell.
I sent the cheque off just after the end of YDC 165 - I sent it to one of my sisters. She, and my other sister Lynn were going to take the cheque up to Bradwell for a personal presentation.
Circumstances have prevented this so far, not least is the fact that Lynn has not been well, she has had a lot of grief lately.
She is enduring suffering and pain with her not-so-good-healing leg amputations, and also has the distress of her daughter not coping very well with the invasive chemo she has received for her cancer treatment.
I have spoken to Lynn today and apologised for asking her and my other sister to take the cheque to Bradwell, and said that I should not have imposed upon them, should have posted it direct, since I live too far away to deliver it myself.
Lynn replied " ..... will definitely go this weekend you did really well to raise that amount of money should proud of yourself 😍😍 hope you and John are feeling a bit better will get some pictures of giving cheque"
I will post any news or pics here, and thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful generosity in raising such a great amount for Bradwell Hall.
