....and where they apparently have more latitude to raise the Competitive rates, we can probably look forward to more of the same. I still can't get over the Small Flat Rate Box costing more than $7 to send---wtf?! Postage is *so* expensive and buyers often don't appreciate that, particularly those who are used to Prime....
Postal services continually increasing charges always seems a false logic to me. I feel they would increase revenue more by lowering the price and attracting more people to actually use the postal service.
Is it better to sell a service for 5 dollars to 100 people or 3 dollars to 200 people?
The way postal prices are going it will soon be cheaper to get in the car and deliver the items yourself. It's already uneconomical to ship a lot of things.
