An old nutmeg: please, please stop the annoying sales pitch when I login; the big advert encouraging me to upgrade to Seller etc etc.

I am on here as a buyer only and intend to stay a buyer with no intention of selling.

It just leads me to believe that eBid are only interested in getting sellers and not buyers.

Once I've said NO then that should stay NO

As long as your cookies are not removed then you should never see the upgrade options again when you login to My eBid.

Go into your browser's settings. Most (all?) browsers have options to allow you to delete all cookies when you close it, except for a list of sites where they're to be kept. Just add ebid.net to that list.

err, once again NO means NO and should stay so.

How can eBid know that you have said "No" if you insist in clearing cookies. They are the only way that eBid can do what you want.

Reasons to clear cookies: Cookies can be outdated or corrupted. That can cause error messages. Although each cookie is tiny, many cookies can start taking up space on your computer. That can slow it down. And more importantly, cookies save information about you. They store private information about sites you visit and purchases you make. Do you really want advertisers and, worse, hackers accessing your personal information?

It is well put as always, but I have explained the cookies and how I feel about them too... how about ebid not placing the advert in the first place! It is just so intrusive everytime I login to have to click 'no' before I can do anything!
