Big hug from me too. I hope it will go well. On a note of encouragement: my Fil lost half a lung to cancer in the early 70s and he lived for another 20 years or so. And I am sure treatment has advanced a lot since then
they said he has to go in for a whole week then everyday for two weeks and then be admitted for another full week.
Seems to be a lot of sad news around. I will go put the kettle on.
Morning - we're a bit damp over here in Mid Wales as there appears to have been some overnight rain. At least the planters appreciated it.
Himself has a day off so I have a list of things for him to do while I do other things!
Anyone need a lightweight mobility scooter? The Old Sailor is selling his as he feels too vunerable/wobbly going out on it any more.
Apart from that, the kettle is on, there's bread for toast and oranges for juicing. I think the Cornflakes box is empty!
Another mug of tea for me whilst I wonder around t'internet.
Good morning! I was just to start writing my morning post when OH made an appearance, so breakfast was moved forward. Our visitor arrived last night much later than expected, so we all missed a number of hours sleep. Her plane made an unscheduled stop to get a passenger into hospital, Anyway, after lunch it will be sleep catch up. Have a good day everyone
I wish this weather would make it's mind up, i woke up feeling like i have been in a boxing ring, will do some relists later but not facebooking or tweeting anything as to be honest i cant be bothered at the moment
Ello troops. Sorry to hear your bad news Private Buttons. As Private Meebo said treatment is a lot better these days so try and remain positive.
Ha, off to lose some of O/H's money on the races later this afternoon and hear UB40 play at the concert afterwards. Trots off singing ... "Red, red wine, stay close to me ..." The cadet is coming too so should be good.

Update...first appointment with GP following my cardiac arrest in March 2016.....asked to try diuretics and he has agreed but only on a very low dose as they can lower my blood pressure and mine is already low due to left ventricular systolic dysfunction. We are now planning to speak every week or so and I will need to have regular blood tests to keep an eye on my kidney function.
Good to hear Sunny - took him/her a while to give you an appointment though.....
Lovely and sunny here - at the moment. But clouds appear to be moving in
Found this mug for Sarge - think she'll like it?
p.s. Pam - how are Nigel's parents?
