If you are not OK with being charged a fee for selling something that was not sold, then there are other options.
Allow the sale to complete; give buyer adequate time to make payment (I give 7 days usually); send buyer payment reminders (I send 3 during the 7 days); if buyer does not pay, I leave appropriate feedback, and mark them as "NPB" in the ASL (After Sale Log). Two days later, you will automatically be refunded. If you do not receive your refund after this cumbersome process, then contact support for assistance.
