Not been on a big ship cruise but have done the Luxor to Aswan cruise a good few times, soooooo relaxing having everything done for you, makes a nice change.Have been to Norway for a holiday, went to Oslo and loved it,found the people very friendly.I keep saying i would like to go on a Fiord cruise but its one of those things i never seem to get round to,
My niece used to work on cruise ships (Saga's 'Ruby' and 'Rose') as a dancer. I doubt she found it as relaxing as you - but she did get to go to a lot of places around the world she likely wouldn't have got to otherwise.
She tried to get me to go along on a cruise with her several times, but it didn't appeal to me. Horses for courses I suppose.
Have never been on a cruise. I think a river cruise might be fun.............down the Mississippi, or in Europe....but across the ocean doesn't appeal to me.
Ta-Ta for now!

Booked three cruises for this year :-)
Going on a cruise in September to Venuatu, Noumea and mystery island.
We did something like that last year
Two hot springs in Iceland, and Scara Brae on Shetland on the way back were the highlight
We tend to avoid US cruise lines because of the food - 50 different cakes and no plain vegetables is not good for my diabetes.
Favourite so far is Beijing to Hong Kong via South Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
Only one so far booked this year, Baltic and St Petersburg starting from Tilbury short journey from us.
