Default To be Bold or not to be bold

I'm trying to create a new listing from sell similar and cutting/pasting from notepad I'm unable to deselect the B - Bold in the WYSIWYG advanced and WYSIWYG simple editor.

The first line on the listing from which I am trying to sell similar is bold. edit: on this listing I highlight the wording I wish to replace which includes the first line.

    I'm using Win 7, Chrome

Tried to replicate the problem using Firefox and Win10 - no problems with either editor.

Have you tried the Plain HTML Box Editor? - here it is much simpler: simply remove the <strong> and </strong> references...

    Thank you for the reply.

As you have tried to replicate the problem on Win 10 I believe it must be a Win 7 glitch and although I know how to change a few things in HTML this doesn't alter the fact the 'B' button isn't working in either WYSIWYG which, I assume, gets the most use rather than HTML.
