Ebid is a site with enormous potential .... but why on earth can't you set up an adult section ... it wouldn't take you long ... there's a big market for it ... just a seperate sign in and a big warning "over 18" and "you are about to enter" ... Blah Blah blah and then they could have their own front page ... 60 mins etc

No more front page items from me untill you remove all the adult items ...

The adult section has been running for a long time, to stop problems of unsuitable items finding their way onto the frontpage we have developed some new checks into v5.0 of our software.

I totally agree with mongoose,why not barr adult items from the front page.
There is a place for porn and the front page,where minors can view it is not it.
I will not be listing on the front page untill the porn goes away.
I make most of my sales from the front page but not any more.

Auctions get messed up on both ebay and qxl , if there is a problem email g&m with the details , the customer service here is a lot better than the other sites

I personally think eBay and QXL custoemr support is quite good. I have contacted eBid many times with out a response.
But when it comes to turning to QXL, coem on m8, dont bother, they're ****

What do these checks do? I bet it would easy to bypass them.

Not if they used a filter on the auctions to filter out certain words appearing in the title and descritions that would indicate that it was an adult auction.

But you can bypass it by s p a c i n g the word or adding s*t*a*r*s to it.
